Turbine Granular Insecticide

Turbine

Technical Name
Thiocyclam Hydrogen Oxalate 3.0% + Clothianidin 1.2% GR

Product Detail

Turbine is an advanced granular formulated combination by Bharat Certis Agriscience Ltd., primarily used in paddy crops to control stem borers & leaf folders. It is an insecticide against lepidopterans of Paddy with contact–ingestion activity, providing a dual mode of action — neurotoxic & systemic — for rapid, long-lasting protection of Paddy.

How Turbine Delivers Its Efficacy

Dual Mode & Rapid Control

Its dual-mode action ensures insect-free fields and lustrous crop growth.

  • Thiocyclam Hydrogen Oxalate – Acts as a neurotoxin, disrupting insect nerve transmission through contact & ingestion activity, providing rapid knockdown of target pests.
  • Clothianidin – A neonicotinoid that works systemically to disrupt nerve signaling in insects, leading to paralysis and death, ensuring long-lasting residual control.

Turbine – Key Benefits
  • Two Potent Molecules – Combines two active ingredients from distinct chemical classes for superior and comprehensive pest control.
  • Enhanced Insect Control Spectrum – Broader control spectrum targeting lepidopteran pests as well as sucking insects like plant hoppers, while minimizing the risk of insecticide resistance.
  • Ready to Use Convenience – Pre-mix granular formulation that is easy to handle and apply directly without any preparation.
  • Flexible Application Window – Allows application up to 15 DAT (Days After Transplanting), giving farmers a wider and more convenient window of application.
  • Dual Mode of Action – Contact & ingestion activity from Thiocyclam combined with systemic action from Clothianidin ensures both fast knockdown and long-lasting residual protection.
  • Resistance Management – The combination of two different classes of chemistry helps delay and manage insecticide resistance development in pest populations.
