Bilstorm is a specialty insecticide mainly designed for hopper management in Paddy, especially Brown Plant Hopper (BPH), White-backed Plant Hopper (WBPH), Green Leaf Hopper (GLH) and Rice Ear Head Bug. Its dual mode of action ensures rapid knockdown and long-lasting control.



Mode of Action

Bilstorm (Dinotefuran 15% + Pymetrozine 45% WG) provides a dual mode of action through neurotoxicity and feeding inhibition.

  • Dinotefuran – Targets nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, causing abnormal nerve impulse transmission, paralysis and death of the pest.
  • Pymetrozine – Disrupts chordotonal organ/TRPV channel-associated feeding control, leading to rapid feeding cessation in hoppers. Sap sucking stops soon after exposure, and insects die gradually due to starvation.
